We use to have this site posted on the old forums and I found it really useful. As I don't have the best computer in the world, I wanted to see if games would work on my PC before I bought or installed them and this does it for you.
You choose the game from a drop down menu and it will analyse your PC and the specs needed for the game and then tells you wether or not it would work on your machine.
It installs a small piece of software but its competely safe and I've used this site countless times. Unfortunately today that this laptop is an epic fail for BF2 sad.gif hope you guys have more luck than me and that you find it useful.

i've used that site many times. it also tells you what you need to upgrade to run a game aswell. it's very useful.

As much as you were joking I actually agree lol. Opera has so many fuck ups on it since the last update, do you know that Opera cant be used for admin on this site? (if you have admin and opera and you didnt know that youre not doing your job properly lol)

Lol I'm using firefox 3 and have no problems with it.

I tried to see what it would say about my pc and crysis on recomended settings.
I got a strange result on the ram.
"Video RAM: Required - 640 MB , You have - 1.7 GB"
I have an overclocked NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with 512 memory.
Can anyone explain why its shows the 1.7gb?
This card does not share ram to my knowledge.

Vista automatically assigns a certain amount of video memory on top of your graphics card. Its never used, unless something specifically requests it.

My 8800GT does the same...

Says I have 2.3GB of Graphics memory - I've done my research into this, and it doesnt suck any ram away from applications that might need to use it, Its just there - In case...
