yeah and this is just the beginning. the pirate bay has been blocked in holland aswell. all upload sites are going to be shut down swiftly followed by sites like youtube and even facebook if this sopa/pipa thing gets the full go ahead.

See the problem is the entertainment industry needs to stop paying millions to lobby politicians to get their way and invest those millions into innovative ways for me to get my content.
Going after the pirates and those that facilitate it is just the industry lashing out because they do it better .
I dont want to wait a fuckton of months for a movie to come out on dvd / US shows to get aired here or get fucked around by games with obsessive and intrusive DRM protections. Its about time the entertainment industry manned the fuck up and changed their game.

i think companies should pour back some of it's MASSIVE profits back into their products to make them cheaper, or make allegiance with companies providing something similar to the likes of netflix and lovefilm, but they're all too greedy or dumb enough not to figure this out...

It would seem other filehosting sites are getting scared.
Fileserve as just removed there affiliate program, no more money payouts for uploads downloaded!
