here's a picture, of the issue i've been getting with my new Graphics card, as you can see, they love telling you that stuff doesn't work, and also that they have no grammatical talent whatsoever.

Was talking to sammy about your issue, sounds to me like a bad pre overclocked card.  Find the default setting for your card range with google, drop the clocks to stock values and see if the issue is cured.  This kind of thing usually happens when noob venders ramp up clock speads without bumping up voltages and slap a "OMFG ITS OVERCLOCKED!!!111!ONE!" Sticker on the box.

sammy rang me and told me, tried the stock settings and it made ingame unplayable, framerate dropped from 60fps to 10fps, then it crashed with another dx error, ive overclocked my cpu to 2.8ghz and it runs consistent now, i think it maybe my mobo again.

bottleneck
you would think so, but it really isnt, i know people with faster GPU's and my processor and don't have this issue, it's something to do with the bandwidth on the northbridge, may need to get a new motherboard

Unless you've got that card clocked to the nuts at 600% something else not right there.  Shouldn't be a performance drop that drastic from dumping the preclock.

Download OCCT and run the GPU test with error checking enabled.

Errors during that really point to a fucked card.  If however your motherboard is in doubt, pull the card and test it in a golden system (known good system) to eliminate that.

Sorted, took out 2 sticks of RAM and has been silky smooth ever since, I can't enable vsync though as it causes drastic frame drops from 75 to 30, however, my CPU is now super clocked to 3.1Ghz on an 8x multiplier which roughly translates to 1550FSB on my CPU

so what you are saying then is that your topic title is wrong and your problems had nothing to do with Microsoft and was more to do with your hardware then.

I'm not saying Microsoft aren't a bunch of knobs like, just that your issue had nothing to do with Microsoft for a change.
