Been looking into getting a decent 5.1 for films and such for the computer as the ones i have atm are pretty poor and barely work...

so i found these http://www.amazon.co..._rd_i=514938031

they're not loads and the review looks quite good...
http://www.expertrev.../logitech-x-530

however i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with anything like this?

worth it not really? open to suggestions to others one also...

well, for 40 notes, you can't really grumble, i'd buy them and test them, if you don't like them, send them back

Well tbh what I have now is more for home media like there's no software for the pc  cept the Realtek software I got with the motherboard but if I got these Im hoping to download some software to get the most out of the speakers and I know Logitech do offer that software has anyone even heard or tried something similar?

Was considering these myself a few weeks back, seen a load of good reviews here http://www.dabs.com/...logitech&src=16

Cant really fault the price, its a bargain. Basic headsets cost more.

Its a long story; effectively they were RMA'd because of a fuse. They should have sent me a fuse and sub-housing but delivered a full set. I 'complained about the service' and received another set. Neither were collected as they said they would.

The set I have available is completely unwrapped except from the sub. I have opened the sub-housing and replaced the fuse which was the original fault. I then repackaged in the wrapping provided.

I have not tested them and cannot test them but they should work. The satellite speakers and wireless rears are wrapped in their original wrapping - never opened as is the remote and transmitter, wires etc.

I was going to e-bay them in the near future.

I also have another set of 5.1 from logitech. These are far more rudimentary. Basic 5.1 set (wirred) which were replaced by the 550W (above). I could find a part / stock number if required.

Chat next time ur on....

Sammy if your wanting good sound for movies etc i would get yourself a nice sound card i currently use a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium 5.1 24bit sound  and the control you have with the software is awesome so many settings to choose and has profiles if a game program is started it will change to Game, Entertainment or Audio Creation mode true THX DTS EAX sound via fiber optic if using a av amp cant beat it i used to just use on board sound for years but theres no going back, my System is a HTPC and thats under my telly in the living room, i play all my games and movies from it

Realtek sucks and not to mention that little extra load your talking of the cpu/chipset

As i built this to be a Home Theater PC you have to have the sound to go with it my Kef speakers and Denon amp cost approx 1.5k but its  worth it :music: bf3 sounds so realistic and crisp

my 2 p worth
