Tragic accident. A young very talented and good all round guy killed doing what he loved most. Having seen him grow as a pro rider over the last few years it feels like someone close to me has gone.

So very very tragic. Went to watch it this morning and wondered why the snooker was on, knew something awful must have happened. 24 years of age with a little kid and so much promise. Feel sorry for Rossi and Edwards but there was nothing that they could have done, a complete freak accident, absolutely horrific. RIP Marco, hope there's tracks up there for you to race on. Thoughts are with your poor family, friends and the racing community xxx

RIP Marco, a bad couple of weeks for motorsport. Thoughts with friends, family, and those who dealt with the incident and did all they could.

RIP - a sad reminder that no matter how hard you try to make motorsport safer it is still ulimately a dangerous sport.
