I need a 24" HD monitor, spent 2 hours researching models and prices and came up with this shortlist.
I like the idea of LED backlit tech (local dimming, not the edge lit type), contrast and blacks are supposed to be incredibly good on those I'm not sure if the 2 LEDs below are local dimming type but it sounds like they are.
THe BenQ EW2420 looks perfect but only reports 8ms grey to grey which sounds a bit sluggish to me. The Iiyama seems better at 2ms but can you believe the reported specs? Manufacturers usually find ways to fix the data so it looks good. Or maybe I should stick with a standard LCD type.

Has anyone got any experience or advice on these or maybe another suggestion?

I have a Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS which is full hd too and I think it's brilliant. In fact my missus has one also and so far, we've not any problems with them and had them abour 2 years.  8)
