when mine went live i kept losing connection to xfire for a couple of days. give it time to settle down and it should work fine.

Sky can switch your connection to a gaming profile if your having connection issues, it makes the line more stable and increases your ping but your speed will drop as a drawback to it

They're talking bullshit, what if there's a power outage? It doesn't matter if the box is turned off or not, they say the same when saying you need to have your phone line plugged into your sky box, no you don't, it's just to encourage you to spend money on sky active and box office, just turn it off lol

Log into the router by going to 192.168.0.1 and enter "admin" as the username and "sky" as the password, once there, Click on security and then firewall rules, make sure that's set to allow always on outbound and block always on incoming, Now click on advanced and then uPnP, if there's no ports open on that then try to add Xfire and trackmania ports to that list (I don't know them off the top of my head but I'll put connection issues down to that), hope this helps

If you in the 8-10 days bracket still of 1st getting your connection then your
internet will fluctuate in speed and quality as for this period the line is being
tested to see exactly what speed you will get, ISP should of advised you of this
when you were being setup.

found that on a forum guess i just gotta sit it out...

jules you might get the same issues if your still in the 10 days
