I need a new mobo and would welcome any advice....

This is what I have...

Asus P5VD2-MX mobo
Core2Duo E6400 2.13
Asus HD5770 1Gb Cu Core
2Gb Ballistix DDR2 800 PC2 6400
Windows XP (intend to upgrade to 7 a.s.a.p)

Mobo is cheap and can't overclock more than a few % without becoming unstable.

My pc usage is internet, HD movies and a few driving games so at present I don't really need a top end cpu and good LGA775 mobos are fairly cheap now.

I think this processor can safely overclock up to 3.2 with the right mobo and cooler, so I figure I can get biggest bang for buck by getting a new LGA775 and overclocking, I can always upgrade to quad later on if needed.

With all the different chipsets and specs though I'm unsure what mobo is best for me, what FSB I need, chipset, good options for memory upgrade etc.

It needs to be under a 100 quid, hopefully much less.
It doesn't need to have on board graphics but should enable easy overclocking (I don't wanna have to piss about with tweaking voltages etc, I just wanna bolt on a cooler and turn up the heat as far as possible).

There are mobos that claim to be excellent for digital sound and HD movies, but does that only refer to the onboard sound and graphics chipsets? Since I get display and digital sound through the HD770 HDMI port into an AV dolby decoder, I guess that feature would be unnecessary?

Basically then... what would get the most out of my existing components with regard to OC'ing and and poss upgrade to quad processor and mem upgrade later on.

I cannot seem to find this motherboard on sale anymore but if you come across it, then snap it up, EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1, it's a tri SLI motherboard with upto 8GB 1200mhz ddr2 and lga775 socket, it supports quad core CPUs aswell, I've got it and I've had no problems, seems to be a pretty solid board with plenty of expansions and whatnot, check it out
