As said above read lots of guides and dont expect much of an OC unless you have decent cooling.
And expect to spend lots of time checking to see if your oc is stable with lots of crashes.

CPU - intel core 2 quad extreme QX6850 3.3ghz
Ram - 4gb corsair 800mhz
motherboard nvidia 680i - asus striker extreme
graphic card - gtx260 2,500 mhz OC to 4,850 mhz

Just follow a repitable guide and be patient. I normally do .1 or .2, run the tests and dont increase until after ive played some games for.a few hours (usually next day)
It's pretty simple if you follow a good guide and dont rush it

Emm got your figures wrong there mate.
Aprox stock speed for a gtx 250 are....
Core-625
Shader-1350
Memory-1050
Your card/cards cant cant even close to that oc even with LN.
