So, bassically am getting a new pc, not really sure what ive chosen is that good though.

what bits do you have in your comp now? could you get away with upgrading your mobo, cpu and ram? ie. you have a case, hdd, psu and case already.

here's what i'd go for if i was building a new comp with £300

I support the above feedback.  Wot do you plan to use your machine for?

And dont foget all those of u out there building ur own - 'waste' your money on a 'cheap' PSU and pay the price heavily.

I wouldn't spend less than £50 on a PSU for any system. At some point you are gonna want to upgrade graphics or add more drives etc and you cannot get a good quality 600w PSU for less than  that money.

If you do go cheapo and it fails, it may well take other components with it.

...and don't be fooled by new 750, 850 and 1000W psu's on ebay for around that price either, go for a reputable manufacturer. A good 750W costs £85+.
