HwMonitor gives you a min and max temp.

core temp gives you a wordpad doc with your min and max core temps aswell as % used.

yeah thats a bit toasty even for a 275 i'd say.
Make sure its fan is speeding up during gameplay to cope with heat.

Can't help but notice the low OC u have on ur CPU there Logik - given u r running the same CPU and MoBo as me - u should be able to push that much further towards the 4GHz.  As a matter of interest, what case have u got it in and what is your memory?

And 91 degrees is not good for ur GFx stability!

Jason, I actually have no OC anymore I forgot the stock was 2.3 not 2.8

With game's assitance I managed to get my CPU at around 3.6ghz with it peaking 70c which is rly good i think but I didnt see that much gain my PC was slow, slugglish still not that much better without OC I would like go waw the i7 rocks but really its just hmm great

Corsair 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 Memory CL9(9-9-9-24)
Coolermaster HAF 932

I think my RAM isnt running at the speed just have a funny feeling I think you need to set it manually

It will be a year old soon do u think its worth RMA or something, the GPU. I knew I should of stuck with ATI :(

Thanks :)

I just found out that the back fan is intake, im not sure why I thought it was exhaust

The heatsink is blowing out hot air onto the back fan which is then pushing it back it ... tut :( Also when i took the case off the CPU went down to 32C which is rly low it usally idles around 38/41c   it shows that the big fan on the side of the case must be blocking air ... I dont use it , cant figure how to take it off will reconfig case tomorrow :)

Edit: Actually i might as well save the hassle in taking it off and just plug it in, increasing the airflow :)

I changed the back fan to blow out now. Removed the side fan. Routed alot of cable at the back. Cleaned alot of dust. I also moved the hard drives closer to the bottom of the case as this is the coolest place. I also moved the sound card to the bottom of the case instead of directly underneath the gpu

Images of temps attached.

temp1 before temp2 after

I can see some drops :)

CPU Temps seem to have dropped a reasonable ammount. Wewre these at load? or idle?

And, the GPU temp has risen??? Dont understand why...maybe becuase there is now no air beyond blown directly into the g card fan, all be it, it was warm air that was being blown in.

Try putting a 120 in the bottom behind the PSU if you've got one, and as long as there's room behind the PSU.

I take it your running an 18x multiplier to get it to 2.8?

From what ive seen around the web, if you put the multiplier up and the bass clock down, it may bring your temps down.

Bclck: 140 multi: 20 or Bclck: 148 multi: 19

Lower bass clock would mean the voltages probably wouldnt need to be as high, so temps would intern be lower.

I think this is correct, someone will correct me if not.

As for lower base clock and higher multi i've tested both ways and not found much dif in temps.

My thinking on it is,
Higher multi/lower base clock = higher TDP = more watts of heat produced
Higher base/lower multi = more volts needed so produces as much heat.

First option normally easier to get stable though.
