i've got Linkem (Italy), fucking internet that comes with wi-fi, but ill get 20 mb adsl in a few months

Ive got sky connection, seems steady enough and never have trouble getting online but speed is rubbish. Only get 3.5Mbps but i am miles away from the exchange. No wonder i race so slow !

I've got BT, and its naf. Keep getting lag spikes and is permanently slow.

its strange with sky since i switched to them, bt told me my phone line can only support 5.5Mb and when i switched to sky, they rated my connection at 12Mb. but with fine tuning, maybe 16Mb, ive had 14Mb once but its had some problems, and they know their stuff so they fixed it promptly, ive settled for 12Mb. BTW anyone with 50Mb virgin, after there is enough customers getting it, theyre capping DL speeds to other users to 64kb, to stop P2P downloading.

BT say you can only get 8meg round me but i get 15meg with O2. even one of thier engineers was suprised by my speed.

i second that. with a ping no greater than 30ms and between 12.5 and 17.8Mbs.

And the reason Sky can get better speed than BT is that they own their own DSLAM's in most exchanges!

im with virgin and on a 2mb line supposed to be upgraded to 10mb for the last 6 months, still waiting! poor service for me when it comes to calling them, would like to switch to sky but the tv service is poor from what ive heard from people who have it

the broadband service is 1st class m8, they dont cap of monitor line usage, id go with sky, my line is rated at 5.5mb with BT, and sky have managed to get 12mb from it!

Virgin for me and yes time for a rant .................  thought it was just my area but sounds like Keyzz is toiling as well. I have had the 10mb upgrade. Faster my arse........  When I phoned the wankers for like the 18 millionth time I told the guy helping me ( he was as much use as tits on a broomstick ) that they had a nerve calling something that fooked a virgin.  I get 3.2 mb on a good day.  Think I've had one good day so far.  My connection drops out on a continual basis somedays so I am far from a happy bunny.  Have applied for the 50 mb upgrade ( I've got more chance of getting a *censored* from Cindy Crawford ) Rant ends.
