They really are awesome though. Up to 22Mbps, no port blocking, free calls to landlines in France, Europe, USA, Mexico and Canada and free calls to mobiles in Canada and USA (dunno why though)!

well tbh i was ok with sky when they didnt have a network in my area as they said they rented others was getting 12-16ms same as i was on with Pipex so must have still been on there line and now i get 40-50ms pings on theres with ping delay time  at isp set at 16ms tried the 8ms setting and was getting time outs and packet loss oh and before it was set ate 16ms pings of 80ish ms was normal no wonder i got it so cheap :S

i am on the 8 max delays and i am on 16mb and i get no problems at all

and when you are not on Skys LLU its bad as they don't manage it

ian't virgin and telewest the same isp now? and wasn't blueyonder now telewest? because when i got my connection we got a blueyonder email adresse but were with telewest which is now virgin media

If ya live in a low populated area, you will get good ADSL connections. I'm with Tiscali, and wish i wasn't i aint got any LLU companies in my exchange so. I get 2.3 MB at about 11.30pm onwards. then when i hit about 4.30 PM i can get less than 512 kbps, and port blocking. Suggest you dont join Tiscali unless you know someone in the same area as you with a decent connection.

Used to be NTL. Now Virgin media but is called telewest in some parts of the country like Birmingham for example

was with NTL but as you know VIRGIN got hold of it now, its bloody good and very rarely fucks up!!

In saying that the whole lot went OFF yesterday>????  only for short period mind.
