Looks to me like there is a crack in the fan ... what you think?



http://www.ebuyer.com/product/105994 Could this be my replacment, I use had trouble with the pins last time it was really hard to get them in

i hate that push-pin crap

imo, if it still works and cools everything enough, don't change it

good point there chris .....

but if it is causing issues then get it replaced as soon as . i know them type are a pain but it has to be done to protect the cpu biggrin.gif

i have that CPU fan and its a hell of alot better than the standard one you get with processor

but like it has been said, if its still workin then no need to replace it wink.gif

Its working but its broken and its producing alot of noise so might aswell change it

If one of the fins is broken imo replace the fan as it would be displacing less air than it meant to.It probably will still do a decent job but imagine if the fin snaps and goes flying (very unlikely) but that will definitely not be good as it throws the balance of the fan off causing failure.

if you get any fan, the best fan you can get are zalman fans, i got an NV tritium skt775 and its quiet and looks good as well. only draw back with this fan, you have to unscrew your motherboard from the chassis to get the custom supports in place underneath the mobo.
