time for a quick match before the next multi-clan event.

match info.

Game: TM forever

match date: TBC (Sunday 12th October 2008) (tracks released).

Start time 9:00pm GMT

Mode: ROUNDS

Winning condition in Rounds: first team to reach 5 round wins, is the winner of that track. in the case of a draw at the end of the match it devolves to overall points as per TA.

Tracks: 2 tracks per clan

Match location: w4 server
(this server will be free for testing a few days before the match.)

Teams: you can field multiples of 5 as long as the team list is submitted before race day.

Teams asked to partisipate: w4, UKFC & FG

so your task as a clan is this:
1. practice.

important news.
our rounds plugin is 99% ready and only requires 2 things.
1. we need your 5 man teams in advance of the match for setup reasons. sunday teatime latest plz.
2. when you join the server you will be given instructions to join a team. something like "/team join" the screen that comes up will have the team names that you list on here. just click on the team your in and your ready to go.

Actually, GMT is regardless of daylight savings, and BST is inclusive.
So what we've all been calling 9pm GMT is actually 9pm BST until November 9

GMT= Greenwich Mean Time
BST= British Summer Time

well as you all know this was the first ever multi clan rounds match.
the first 3 rounds went fine but as you know an error occured with the match plugin.
we reset and started on the second half of the match but due to people leaving the server, but not leaving the teams first, we found we couldnt replace them.
this is why most teams ended up with only 4 players or less instead of 5.
on the upside the problems we encountered are easily fixed so if you would like to have a rematch in the next 3 or 4 weeks let me know. we can choose new tracks or keep the same.
the stats will be put up shortly.

sry for the foul ups but hopefully the next match will be a corker.
